Vineyard

Idavue Estate's vineyard is hand pruned by the winemaker
to ensure the quality of the fruit. The vineyard is irrigated by
minimal drip irrigation in the summer months, as we look for quality,
not quantity.
 


Our vineyard of 14 acres consists of the following varieties of grapes:

•Shiraz.

•Cabernet Sauvignon.

•Chardonnay.

•Semillon.



The flavour and complexity in our wine is developed from
the cool climate, and slower ripening grapes.
The Heathcote region is renowned for its quality Shiraz.
