ABOUT US
Our wines are
hand-crafted on site, using hand picked grapes,
hand plunged open ferments with the age old traditional
method of
basket pressed ferments.

The wine has further minimal intervention with no fining
agents and no pre-filtering used.
Our wines are matured in New and Old French Oak Barriques,
with the barrel storage are viewable from Cellar Door.
We are boutique producers, producing 600 cases of premium
Heathcote wine at this stage, which is increasing annually.
Idavue Estate's vineyard is hand pruned by the winemaker
to ensure the quality of the fruit. The vineyard is
irrigated by
minimal drip irrigation in the summer months, as we look for
quality,
not quantity.

Our vineyard of 14 acres consists of
the following varieties of grapes:
•Shiraz.
•Cabernet
Sauvignon.
•Chardonnay.
•Semillon.
The flavour and complexity in our wine is developed from
the cool climate, and slower ripening grapes.
The Heathcote region is renowned for its quality Shiraz.
